About Us

Salah is a fundamental pillar of Islam, but many Muslim women struggle to find a space where they can pray salah safely when out and about.

In order to address this, a group of sisters from Batley and Dewsbury started to collate a list of local spaces that provide spaces for women to pray.

And so... SujoodSpace was born.

With the help of a local web developer we created a user-friendly website, which has a list of local verified places where sisters can pray salah safely.

The interactive map:

• Shows which SujoodSpace is closest to your current location
• Provides images of venues
• Details opening times
• Gives you the option to directly contact the places listed.

New! Following our success in Yorkshire, we have been approached by a Scholar from Leicester to expand our reach there. Alhamdulillah, our interactive map now includes many SujoodSpaces in Leicester and the surrounding areas.
